Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a cost to attend?
No. There are no dues or fees for SA membership. We are fully self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions, but newcomers are welcome to attend for free.
What should I expect at my first meeting?
Meetings typically last for 60 minutes. They are a safe space where we read SA literature and members can share their experience, strength, and hope. You are not required to speak and are welcome to just listen.
Is this anonymous?
Yes. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of our program. We use first names only, and what is shared in meetings stays in meetings to ensure a safe environment for all members.
